Mike Whitehead , owner and operator of Faux Creation Studios has been painting for 21 years. Starting with Bless This Mess Painting in 1986, painting residential and commercial projects. Over the years he has painted 1000's of houses and has always had a desire to do more. Painting is artistic by nature , but Mike wanted to do more than slap paint on a surface , he wanted to create an experience to be shared for many years to come.

Mike has always had a desire for creativity and wanting to expand beyond painting has studied under some of the Worlds most sought after decorative finishers and continues to educate himself on an annual basis. He has trained under Master Artist Mike MacNeil , Freeman of the Worshipful Painters of England , known for his wood grain and marble techniques ,Master Cabinetry & Furniture Finisher Cindy Everett , Master Krista Vind , known for her inspiring decorative finishes in the RS series line, Master Faux Artesian , Martin Allen Hirsh of Decorative Finishes Studio's Faux Finishing School and continues to learn advance decorative techniques at Faux Effects International of Vero Beach , Florida.
